Good afternoon Springfield communities,
We wanted to send out an update on the holiday season and how it looks here at OBS Financial this year.
OBS Financial prides itself on being very involved with our local communities and giving back in every way we can. Stacey has consistently taken a leadership role in providing fun, family events and fundraising campaigns for respective causes.
One that we have held near and dear to our hearts over the years was the OBS Toy Drive, in partnership with Kinsmen Christmas hampers. With the challenges presented with Covid-19 in 2020 and the Christmas hamper donation changing to a mail out gift card distribution, we had to make some changes. With this change we are no longer able to collect and distribute the physical toys and have therefore had to put a hold on the official Toy Drive this year. We 100% support their decision and respective precautions so we have decided to open up several other options for the community this year.
In its place, we will be collecting cash donations and non-perishable food donations for the local Springfield Food Bank. Donations can be dropped off during office hours and our various Holiday events with Santa and guests throughout the month December at the OBS Financial main office, 664 Main st, Oakbank.
Moreover, during the holiday season we invite the community to come around for photos in the famous Sleigh and enter our various draws to win Springfield Local Business gift cards ensuring that we all give back to the local communities.
We want to end a difficult year off with the Christmas lights shining bright and some wonderful evenings full of family and friends!
